Our style of working is to choose a general topic for the year, with individual members choosing a particular theme of interest to research. At our monthly meetings we report back for 5 to 10 minutes and discuss our findings. There are between 6 and 10 people at each meeting.

For example, one time, the group’s topic was the 1600's; with the members researching matters such as the dawn of religious tolerance, Newspapers, the Stuarts and so on. Because we are all doing something within the same general topic, the discussions are stimulating.

We like to end the year with a meal themed about our topic. All members contributing a dish.
