As a rule, we start with a cup of coffee and biscuit before getting down to the business of discussing the book we have just read. Usually these books come from the library to which we all pay a small annual subscription.

Mostly we read contemporary fiction. There are occasions when a classical or non-fiction book gets suggested. The selection being decided upon by members recommendations and subject to library availability.

Our discussions are lively and interesting. As you'd expect, we are not always of one mind, which can lead to an interesting morning!

We all agree, however, that we have extended our reading experiences since joining the group.
