Whether we like it or not Generative AI is already impacting all aspects of society. It isn’t going away. The press focuses on all the negative aspects of AI – however there is much AI is doing to benefit people and u3a members deserve to be able to have a balanced view of AI.

There’s no one-size-fits-all so our group will operate on a collaborative learning approach. Using AI effectively needs practice and some skills - these are most easily learnt collaboratively where u3a members share their experiences.

To start this group off we require 5-8 members that are prepared to explore generative AI and contribute to each group meeting. Places will be limited during the induction stages.
